Vikas Taneja is a BCG Advisor and Venture Strategist at B Capital. He is also a Managing Director and Senior Partner with The Boston Consulting Group and the global lead of BCG’s Growth Tech practice – serving fast growing technology companies around the world. Vikas is on the executive leadership team of BCG’s Technology, Media, and Telecom practice. Previously, Vikas led BCG’s Sales and Go-To-Market topic globally.

Vikas works with B Capital portfolio companies to scale and leverage the partnership between BCG and B Capital.

Vikas’s commercial focus has been on helping clients scale and grow profitably. He has led major programs to improve business performance through Digital Transformation, improving innovation, sales productivity, product portfolio improvements, process reengineering, and organization restructuring.

Prior to joining BCG, Vikas worked at ARCH Technology Partners where he evaluated and helped commercialize new technologies emerging from University of Chicago’s academic labs and medical school. Vikas has also worked in the Information & Technology group at McKinsey & Co.

Vikas received his MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Computer Systems Engineering and Economics from Stanford University

Vikas is on the Boston Advisory Board for Pratham, an India-based organization that has worked with over 4 million children to help them achieve literacy and basic mathematics skills.
